Nippers is exclusively for kids six years and under.

This mini XRACE is all about letting the little ones experience a bit of fun and racing just like their older brothers or sisters. The idea for Nippers was inspired by those classic half-time football encounters - midgets as they were known way back when - playing across the field and running in every direction.

HERE IS HOW NIPPERS WORKS

Our Nippers are the curtain-raiser. After the main race briefing, all the big XRACERS form a guard of honour at the finish line for the Nippers and then they go racing.

When the start gun goes, the Nippers charge across the start line, the complete their own challenges and then race over to New Zealand’s largest inflatable obstacle course and climb, bounce, duck and weave their way back to the finish line.

Mum and dad, you are completely welcome to let your little Nipper loose (we will take careful care of them) or charge over the course with them - but dads, it's shoes off, because Nippers is barefoot racing!
 

Nippers also need to be registered as well. They receive their own Nipper goody bag.
 

The entry fee covers the cost of their finish medal, cap and goodies along with a proud photo for the family paparazzi.​
